আমি কোনো গ্রামার বই থেকে কোনো নিয়মের কথা বলছি না। আমার নিজের অভিজ্ঞতা থেকে বলছি। কোনো শিক্ষার্থী যখন তার স্কুলে যাওয়া, স্কুল থেকে আসা বা স্কুলে অবস্থান করার কথা বলে তখন school এর পূর্বে the হয় না। যেমন, আমি স্কুলে যাই। I go to school. আমি স্কুলে গিয়েছিলাম। I went to school. আমি স্কুলে যাইনি। I didn't go to school. কিন্তু যখন তার স্কুলের বর্ণনা দিবে তখন school এর পূর্বে the হবে। যেমন, I read in A. K. High School. / The name of my school is P. K. High School. The school is situated in Dhaka. There are about 2000 thousand students in the school. The school looks very beautiful.
